At MaxHertz, we are committed to providing high-quality audio engineering services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds, cancellations, and service modifications for our mixing, mastering, production, and mentorship services.

Due to the custom and creative nature of our services, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We aim to resolve all issues fairly and ensure customer satisfaction.

2. Payment Structure

Our services typically require:

  • Prepayment (Deposit): 50% of the total service fee is required to begin work
  • Final Payment: 50% of the total service fee is due upon completion and delivery of the final product

Payment methods accepted: Revolut, PayPal, and USDT (TRC20) cryptocurrency.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

Full Refund Available: If you cancel your order before we have begun working on your project, you are entitled to a full refund of any prepayment made.

To cancel, please contact us via Telegram or email as soon as possible.

Work is considered "begun" when we have started processing your audio files, creating project files, or making any creative decisions regarding your project.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Begun

If you cancel your order after work has begun, the following applies:

  • Partial Refund: You may be eligible for a partial refund based on the amount of work completed
  • Work Completed: You will receive all completed work up to the cancellation point
  • No Refund for Completed Work: If the project is substantially complete (80% or more), no refund will be issued

The refund amount will be calculated based on:

  • Time invested in the project
  • Work completed and delivered
  • Materials and resources used

5. Revisions and Modifications

We offer reasonable revisions to ensure your satisfaction with the final product. The number of included revisions depends on your service package:

  • Standard Services: Up to 2 rounds of revisions included
  • Premium Services: Up to 3 rounds of revisions included
  • Additional Revisions: May be subject to additional fees

Revisions must be requested within 14 days of receiving the initial delivery. Requests for revisions after this period may incur additional charges.

6. Refund Eligibility

6.1 Qualifying Circumstances for Full or Partial Refund

  • Service not delivered within the agreed timeframe (unless due to client delays)
  • Service not performed as described in the original agreement
  • Technical issues preventing delivery of usable files
  • Failure to meet minimum quality standards as agreed
  • Cancellation before work begins

6.2 Non-Qualifying Circumstances

No Refund Will Be Issued For:

  • Change of mind after work has been completed and delivered
  • Disagreement with creative choices when work meets agreed specifications
  • Client's failure to provide necessary materials or information in a timely manner
  • Client's failure to respond to communications for extended periods (30+ days)
  • Request for revisions beyond the included number of rounds
  • Use of the delivered work in violation of our terms

7. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out via Telegram or email explaining your reason for the refund request
  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, service type, and specific reason for the refund
  3. Review Period: We will review your request within 5-7 business days
  4. Resolution: We will respond with our decision and, if approved, process the refund

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Processing time may vary:

  • Revolut/PayPal: 5-10 business days
  • Cryptocurrency (USDT): 1-3 business days

8. Disputes and Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, we encourage open communication to resolve the issue. We are committed to finding a fair solution for all parties.

For disputes, please provide:

  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Evidence supporting your claim (screenshots, emails, audio files, etc.)
  • Your preferred resolution

9. Service Modifications

If you wish to modify your service (e.g., change from mixing to full production), please contact us as soon as possible. Modifications may result in:

  • Additional fees or credits

All modifications must be agreed upon in writing before implementation.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in service delivery due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Technical failures of third-party services
  • Internet or power outages
  • Government actions or regulations
  • Pandemics or health emergencies

In such cases, we will work with you to find a reasonable solution, which may include deadline extensions or alternative arrangements.
